Wheelock Energy Fair
The Energy Fair on May 17, 2025 at Town Hall was a success! Folks from eight area agencies provided weatherization help and rebates information to 46 attendees.

HEAT Squad provides low-cost energy audits for homes and
businesses, project coordination, access to financing options
and rebates.
Efficiency Vermont provides advice, technical services, and
financial support.
NETO provides Free Weatherization services if you meet income
guidelines or receive benefits such as Reach Up, Seasonal Fuel
Assistance, SSI.
NEKCA, Northeast Kingdom Community Action
provides the GreenSavingSmart program, help with financial
and energy coaching.
Vermont Electric Coop offers members opportunities to
sponsor solar panels and to get monthly credit on bills.
Window Dressers: community volunteers come together to
hand craft insulating window inserts for their own and
neighbors’ homes.
Solar Power Vermont LLC: local (Newark Vt.) vendor
providing comprehensive solar energy solutions, with a focus on
residential projects.
Vermont Public Power Supply Authority: rebates for weatherization work and heat pumps for those served by Lyndon Electric.
